About Me
Our Philosophy
I grew up in a coastal town in northern Morocco; the ocean has been my second home for as long as I can remember. I caught my first wave at six years old and picked up a skateboard at twelve. These weren't just hobbies; they shaped how I see the world and defined the path I would follow now.
By the time I was sixteen, I had started coaching others. I realized early on that helping someone stand on a board for the first time with that epic smile gave me the same feeling as riding a wave myself. I spent 10 years in a call centre job, working stupid hours and burnt out so hard I spent a year in the Moroccan desert recovering. This is where my career in the surf industry started.
In 2022, I took a risk and co-founded Cactus Surf & Skate House with my childhood best friends. It allowed me to get back to my roots, back in the water, and to make genuine connections with travelers seeking to escape the generic holiday experience.
This gave me the clarity to launch Pangea Surf Experience—my own solo venture and the culmination of 25 years in the water. Pangea is my vision of what surf travel should be. It’s designed for those who want to skip the sanitized, predictable resort experience and get straight into the real soul of Moroccan surf culture.
Nothing is forced here; everything is relaxed, grounded, and deeply connected to our local community. Whether you are stepping onto a board for the first time or looking for dedicated coaching to refine your skills, our goal is simple: to make you feel completely welcome, supported, and part of the family.
